Job Details

  • CT Tech position at Grant Memorial Hospital
  • Responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies including CT scans and X-rays
  • Must have experience with various imaging studies such as head, neck, spines, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTAs, and PE studies.

    • Job Requirements

  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) verification required
  • Must have experience starting IVs
  • All submissions must include a copy of candidate's unexpired driver's license

    • Schedule Information

  • 12 hour shifts : 7 AM to 7 PM
  • Rotating night shift working three 12 hour shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 AM
  • Weekend requirements : Every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday requirements : Will fill in where needed

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Department has 1 scanner / room
  • Will have to float / cover X-ray area
  • Department specific equipment : Canon
  • Lead Tech is the Radiology Supervisor
  • Do they use RRA's : Yes

    • Additional Details

  • Radiation badge required to be provided to traveler by agency; facility will not provide
  • Department : CT | Tech
  • Common types of imaging / studies performed : Various - Head, Neck, Spines, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Extremities, CTAs, PE studies, run-offs
  • Average number of scans / studies per day : 20
  • EMR & / or PACS : Merge RIS / PACS
  • Department specific orientation : 1 week (3-12's)
