Hospital is a regional health care facility located in the heart of the Potomac Highlands.
The hospital serves Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton Counties with OB / GYN service also in Hampshire and Mineral Counties.
Grant Memorial Hospital is licensed for 60 beds and employs over 350 professionals that provide nurturing care to those needing hospital services.
Job Requirements
Must have at least 1 year experience.
Experience in Outpatient Surgery (OPD), Preop and PACU for call outs is highly preferred but not required.
Schedule Information
Monday-Friday 6 : 45-3 : 15
Weeknight / Call Requirements : Yes-around 10-11 days of call a month including weekends. Call is 3p-7a.
Weekend / Call Requirements : Yes, every 3rd weekend Friday 3p to Mon 7a.
Holiday / Call Requirements : Yes, staff cover at least 2 holidays a year.
Call response time : 30 min response time.
Unit Specific Information
Floating Requirements : OPD (outpatient surgery), Preop and PACU for callouts.
Additional Details
Department : Operating Room | RN
Suites : 3 OR rooms and 1 endo room.
Average # of cases per day : 6-25 depending on specialty.
Common Cases : Endoscopes, Cataracts, Lap Choles, lap appys, C-Section, Tubal Ligation, Hysteroscopy, D7C, Endometrial Ablation, Total Joints, Shoulder and Knee scopes, Fractures, Excision, No robotics.
Scrubbing required - RN's : No scrubbing required.
EMR : MedHost
Scrub Color / Dress Code : Grey scrubs-provided.
Unit / Department specific orientation : 2 days max to float with someone.
