Job Details

  • Radiation badge : Required to be provided to traveler by agency; facility will not provide.
  • Department : Radiology | Xray
  • Common types of imaging / studies performed : General x-ray and fluoro exams. Will do ER and possibly OR.

    • Job Requirements

  • BLS (AHA)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification
  • Must have CT experience. 2 years experience in CT and X-ray.

    • Schedule Information

  • 12 hour shifts : 7-7. Manager does schedule.
  • Weekend Requirements : Every 3rd weekend.
  • Holiday Requirements : Will fill in where needed.
  • Rotating nightshift working three 12 hour shifts 6 : 30 pm-7am.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Will they have to float / cover any other areas : Yes to CT.
  • Do they have to start IV's : Not for X-ray but required for CT.

    • Additional Details

  • ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE
  • Radiation badge : Required to be provided to traveler by agency; facility will not provide.
  • Average # of scans / studies per day : 50
  • EMR & / or PACS : Merge RIS / PACS
  • Department Specific Equipment : GE in the rooms. Canon portable.
  • Radiologist in-house : Radiologist on Tuesday AM, outside of that all readings are done in from Cumberland, Maryland.
