TITLE: Courier
DEPARTMENT: Laboratory & Dietary
POSITION STATUS/HOURS: On-Call/As-Needed Position. Primary hours are between: 9:45am-12:00pm (noon). Additional on-call hours to run samples to Dubuque and Platteville. Non-benefit eligible.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Courier is responsible for the following:
- Collect and transport paper (including protected health information), lab specimens, meal site food, mail, bank deposit from GRHC to acceptable location which could be the Grant Regional Outreach Clinics in Cassville, Fennimore, and Potosi; Fennimore High Point Family Medicine; meal sites; post office; Dubuque or Platteville; and bank.
- Courier will work from a tight schedule driving to/from the above mentioned in a safe manner using a GRHC provided vehicle or personal vehicle when needed.
- Clean and gas the vehicle.
- Confidentiality is a must as well as a professional appearance and courteous personality.
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years old and hold a valid Wisconsin driver's license, have the knowledge and abilities required to safely operate a GRHC vehicle or personal vehicle; mileage reimbursed at current IRS mileage rate. Acceptable driving record. Able to lift and transfer 40 pounds.
