After School Center Job

Grant’s Chesapeake Taekwondo and After School Center understands the importance for children to build a solid foundation of skills they can take into later years. With our team’s dedication to continuous learning and creating a safe environment, we are seeking an enthusiastic After School Coach, looking for a humbling experience to help provide our children the tools needed to succeed in school and life.

You will participate in and support the activities of children enrolled in our programs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to pursue a career in education, has a love for children, and/or is looking to develop skills to use in the workforce.

is part-time with flexible schedules, 15-20 hours per week.

After School Hours of Operation: 2 PM-6 PM, M-F

All Day Camp Hours: - Teacher Workday/s, Winter Break Camp, Spring Break Camp:

7 AM - 6 PM (Morning shift and afternoon shift)

Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with other team members to plan and implement daily activities tailored to the needs of our children.

 Set up and maintain activity and program areas to ensure all materials are ready for use.

 Provide homework support.

 Clean and organize facilities after each activity to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.

 Participate and assist with the activities of children enrolled in the after-school and

Summer Camp programs, as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

 Certifications: First Aid & CPR preferred

 Experience: 1 year working in child care, grade-level school, or a relevant setting

 Transportation: Reliable vehicle/transportation to and from work

 Other: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks and

manage multiple responsibilities effectively, keen attention to detail, patience, well-

spoken and hardworking with a professional demeanor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
