The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise warehouse associates, manage the daily activities in Grant's Farm Warehouse to ensure efficient operations and completion of receiving, delivery, and storage of products.
Essential Job Duties
- Supervise all activities of the warehouse operations.
- Oversee the daily workflow and assignments through proper scheduling of warehouse associates while following budget guidelines.
- Assist in the interviewing and hiring of warehouse associates.
- Creates, identify and produce training plans for warehouse team while providing on-going training and development of warehouse associates.
- Conducts performance evaluations of warehouse associates.
- Ensures safe work practices: including PPE, equipment use, driving skills, and operation of machinery, maintain/create SOPs (standard operating procedures) and update as needed. Performs daily safety checks.
- Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the goods are maintained.
- Responsible for all the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete daily assignments.
- Ensures all food products are properly stored and rotated (First In, First Out)
- Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects received product
- Responsible for timely delivery of product to proper locations, coordinating with various departments for deliveries
- Performs and responsible of monthly inventories of stored items in the warehouse (food, supplies, and merchandise)
- Manage the storage, organization and inventory of event and activation items and delivery of those items as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Culinary Operations, and/or the General Manager.
- Performs task as Manager on Duty of Grant's Farm as scheduled.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with one year of post high school college or work experience.
- Possess a valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficient computer skills using various software programs.
- Strong sense of personal integrity and time management.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Team spirit and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Desire to learn
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be able to lift or carry 80 lbs.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including heat, inclement weather, cold, etc
