Clothes Presser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles from garments.
• Inspect garments for stains or damages before pressing and report any issues.
• Launder items as necessary, ensuring proper cleaning techniques are applied.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change.
• Strong customer service skills, with experience in hospitality or hotel environments being a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
