We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team in providing exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests at The Grant Street Inn or The J Hotel & Suites. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and warmth. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries effectively.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest relations or front desk operations within a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Familiarity with hospitality management practices and hotel operations is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls effectively.
