As the Tax Legislative Affairs Leader, you’ll monitor and analyze tax legislative developments, providing strategic insights, and engaging with clients and markets – all with the resources, environment and support to help you excel. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, including tax, assurance and advisory because together is how we succeed. From day one, you’ll be empowered by serving as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on tax legislative matters and help you achieve more, confidently.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Monitor Tax Legislative Developments: Stay abreast of federal, state, and local tax legislation and regulatory changes. Analyze the potential impact on clients and the firm.
- Provide Strategic Insights: Interpret legislative changes and provide actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Develop strategies to address legislative impacts.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on tax legislative matters. Conduct client briefings and presentations.
- Market Engagement: Represent the firm in industry forums, conferences, and meetings. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers and industry leaders.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including tax, assurance and advisory, to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Prepare Reports and Publications: Develop and disseminate reports, whitepapers, and other publications on tax legislative developments.

You have the following technical skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., JD, LLM, MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in tax policy, legislative affairs, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of tax legislation and regulatory processes.
- Possess a deep understanding of tax policy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
