We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounting Associate to play a vital role in supporting our Assistant Controller and the smooth operation of our day-to-day accounting activities. You will also contribute significantly to our month-end and year-end closing processes and audit preparations.
Duties include but are not limited to - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, credit card entry and reconciliation, G/L account reconciliation, and month-end reporting and analysis. This position will help record fixed asset information and inventory transactions, report building and analysis. There is also a customer support component, which involves researching and helping with customer payments and supporting other departments with reporting and transaction analysis. Must be willing to work and collaborate with other members of the accounting team.
Requirements
- Full-time position: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM at our Kaysville office
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including utilizing pivot tables and lookup functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP).
- Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to providing helpful support.
- Knowledge of NetSuite (ERP system) is helpful
- Experience with SQL and/or MS Access is a plus.
