What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Employee position at Grantsville City Corporation?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful applicants will keep campus grounds in neat and orderly condition by performing assigned duties. This is a temporary, seasonal position beginning in April 2025 and ending in August 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and maintain park facilities: restrooms, pavilions, playgrounds, courts, etc.
- Operate large power lawn mowers, edgers, hand tools, and vehicles associated with grounds maintenance and landscaping activities.
- Maintain landscape and flower areas, remove debris from grounds and sidewalks, rake leaves, and keep city parks clean of garbage.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years running lawn equipment or something similar. (Preferred)
- Have a valid Driver's license.
- Be able to lift and/ or move up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions or work assignments.
