Position Summary: As a Beverage Retail Specialist, you will embody the essence of Grapes & Grain, offering unparalleled customer service while providing expert knowledge and guidance on our extensive selection of wines, liquors, and beers. Your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our clientele, ensuring they receive personalized recommendations and assistance with their purchases.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an ambassador for Grapes & Grain, delivering excellence in customer service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers in selecting products, providing detailed information on various beverages including origin, flavor profiles, and food pairings.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Maintain a meticulously organized and aesthetically pleasing retail environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are visually appealing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product releases, and promotions to effectively engage customers and drive sales.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Exceptional knowledge of wines, liquors, and beers, with the ability to confidently recommend products to customers.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the beverage industry is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and provide informative and friendly service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining grace and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
