Job Description:
As an LPN/LVN in our Long Term Care facility, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various nursing procedures. You will also be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various nursing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication lists, and vital sign documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by promoting open communication, respect, and empathy among colleagues.
Requirements:
- Licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of South Dakota.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Long Term Care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
