Special Knowledge / Skills:
- Knowledge of Google Workspace Administration
- Knowledge of managing Chromebooks and Chrome OS
- Knowledge of Electronic discovery within Google Workspace
- Knowledge of jam programming for Google Workspaces
- Knowledge of Chrome extension management
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Win10 and above, and Apple Operating Systems OS X and above.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting all aspects of Google Workspace
- Experience with/understanding of SMTP and other email protocols
- Experience configuring mobile devices and other devices as required/needed.
- Ability to work effectively with Technology and other District personnel.
- Perform all job functions with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and make sound, independent decisions when necessary.
Minimum Experience:
Two years working with Google Workspace administration and Chromebooks in an educational setting
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace applications, Chrome OS, and Chromebook management software
Experience in educational trends and best practices

Major Responsibilities, Duties, Expectations
- Administer and maintain the Google Workspace environment, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Classroom, and other associated applications.
- Configure and optimize Google Workspace settings to meet the unique needs of K-12 education.
- Create and manage user accounts, groups, and organizational units within the Google Workspace environment.
- Ensure proper access controls, permissions, and security settings are in place.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace-related issues to users, including educators, students, and administrative staff.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Create and maintain documentation for common procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard sensitive data within the Google Workspace environment
- Stay current with Google Workspace updates and security features, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Explore and implement integrations between Google Workspace and other educational technology tools.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and provide recommendations for their integration to enhance the educational experience.
- Manage projects, tasks, and tickets as assigned on time.
- Manage Public information requests, Tasks, Tickets, and addresses in a required timely manner. Provide updates to Google Workspace to ensure security patches are in place.
- Provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution of Google Workspace issues for campus administrative/instructional users.
- Support misc District-wide applications.
- Oversee the device management requirements for state Testing.
- Maintain confidentiality of and a fiduciary approach toward all departmental and district information, data, forms, etc. (i.e., normal/con?dential memos/correspondence within department/District, passwords, payroll/personnel information, student information, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with Network, Cyber, and Systems Engineers.
- Perform other duties/assignments as assigned by supervisors. Take the initiative to develop the professional skills needed for job assignments.
