Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager Role
The Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager will oversee paper machine operations, guiding Assistant Superintendents and Operations Management staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Directing production operations in a safe and organized manner, ensuring high-quality products meet customer specifications and production schedules.
- Maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and adhering to permit requirements.
- Leading cost-saving initiatives through operational improvements and process enhancements.
- Developing and implementing efficient material and labor usage strategies.
- Collaborating with department managers to optimize mill production and achieve business objectives.
We seek an experienced professional with 5 years of paper machine expertise, strong communication skills, and knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma principles. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
