Summary/Objective
The Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for collection activities including the creation and mailing of customer invoices, applying payments to the appropriate accounts and initiating follow-up inquiries for past due invoices.
Essential Functions
- Ensures new clients are properly set up and current information is maintained.
- Manages and completes weekly maintenance of capitation, check request, aging, cash and offset reviews.
- Manages collection activity.
- Continually evaluates areas of opportunity to troubleshoot, improve current processes and procedures and suggests to supervisor.
- Provides weekly progress reports to management for quantity and quality of work.
- Leads by example and sets the pace of workflow for the department.
- Effectively communicates with customers and employees regarding receivable questions.
- Support the Accounting department by filling in at the front desk for reception duties when needed.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information at all times.
- Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
- Communitcate with the Data team daily on postage received.

Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- 3 years of experience in accounting
Work Environment
This job generally operates in a professional office environment but may need to work with employees in a production environment where he/she may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and moderate to loud noise level. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and smartphones.

However, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move about the office and production areas to access other departments, files, office machinery, etc.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. Overtime will be required at times dependent upon business necessity.
