We started Graphite because we miss internal code review tools like Phabricator (at Facebook) and Critique (at Google) that help engineers create, approve, and ship incremental changes. We want to make well-designed, high-quality developer tooling accessible to everyone.
Our company
We're a small-but-mighty team of 26 based in Manhattan in the heart of Soho, with a passionate and rapidly growing group of users at top engineering orgs like Perplexity, Browser Co, Datadog, Bolt, Brex, Ramp, and Snowflake.

About the role
Graphite is growing rapidly, we're looking for a
brand designer
to establish and maintain the visual identity systems for Graphite and any sub-brands. This includes defining our brand personality, create guidelines and templates, and experiment with ways we can adapt and evolve our identity system over time.
Rethinking the way fast-moving software engineering teams write and review code every day is no small feat, and we believe that the best solutions are built when most talented, ambitious, and dedicated people with diverse backgrounds come together. What you'll do
Collaborate closely with founders to understand the company mission and visionHelp establish and evolve our brand personality for the core Graphite brand as well as any sub brands we may introduceDefine and develop visual brand system, including typography, color palettes, visual elements (shapes, icons, patterns, effects, etc)Create and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms and materialsDesign marketing materials, social media content, and presentation decksCollaborate with product teams to ensure brand consistency in our digital productsLead the art direction for company campaigns and initiatives including marketing campaigns, social media, video productions, etc.Collaborate with our design engineers to design website assets and help shape our digital presenceRequirements : What we're looking for
3 years of professional brand design related experienceA strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, creativity, adaptability, sense of style, brand personality, and an eye for detailProven experience developing innovative, scalable brand systemsExpert experience in creative tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma)Bonus for experience in video, motion, and 3D
