The Aielli Group is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House (FOH) Team Members to join our dynamic team at the Bakery at Grappino. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring an outstanding experience for our guests. You will work closely with the rest of the team to deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service while maintaining a clean and inviting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of FOH areas, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and precise food delivery.
- Answer questions about menu items, specials, and events.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Provide support to other team members as needed to ensure a seamless operation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Participate in training and team meetings to improve skills and enhance service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using POS systems or willingness to learn.
