Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Manage and motivate staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction and business profitability.
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service throughout the establishment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for staff.
- Provide strong presence in local community and high level of community involvement by restaurant and personnel.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar managerial role in the hospitality industry. Bar knowledge highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and manage budgets effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office and hospitality management software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Please note that this position requires the ability to work long hours, including late night and weekends, as needed
