As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests with a smile, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they walk through our doors. You will manage reservations, escort guests to their tables, and maintain a smooth flow of service throughout the restaurant. Your organizational skills will be key in coordinating seating and efficiently managing the dining area during busy service periods. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to ensure a smooth seating process.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area to enhance the guest experience.
- Answer phone calls and provide information about restaurant services and menu offerings.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to facilitate excellent service and communication in the dining area.
- Monitor guest flow and assist in managing wait times during peak hours.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with guests.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations and seating effectively.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing outstanding service.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and menu items is a plus.
