About the role

We are expanding and seeking for an experienced C Developer to join a new and ambitious HFT / MFT team with proven alphas. Depending on seniority, you will gradually be guided to eventually be an important architect of the group, with direct impact to the team’s profit and can share the trading success.

No prior experience in finance or trading is required, but an interest in the domain and a willingness to learn and grow is key.

As a key, founding member of the Trading Team, your responsibilities include :

  • Initial greenfield phase - Work directly with the lead quant trader to :

Implement key components of a high performance, scalable, reusable trading system.

  • Integrate trading team’s system into core team’s systems, choosing the right balance between abstraction vs. speed
  • Expanding the trading team’s cloud infrastructure for large scale AI / ML research, data pipeline ML Ops
  • Continuous expansion phase :
  • Work with other team members to define and implement new trading ideas and further guiding the architecture of the trading team’s initial system

  • Guide junior developers / quants
  • We'd love for you to have :

  • At least 5 to 7 years of C development experience
  • Expertise in low-latency design principles
  • Familiarity with C 20 and above

  • At least 3 to 5 years of Python development experience
  • Familiarity with pandas, scipy, numpy
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles and best practices
  • Proficient as a user of shell scripting for automation tasks and SQL databases
  • Knowledge of low-level networking (UDP / TCP)
  • Quick and decisive thinking and the ability to perform in a dynamic and stressful environment
  • Have a balance of pragmatism with a desire to see things done right
  • Ambition to see new teams succeed and share in the rewards of being an early front-office trading team member.
