Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Campaign Management:
- Execute direct fundraising campaigns through various channels, including events, direct mail, email, and social media.
- Create and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes both short-term and long-term goals for annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns to ensure that fundraising targets are met or exceeded.
- Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
- Manage a portfolio of major donors, ensuring personalized communication and regular updates on the impact of their giving.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of donor thank-you notes, recognition materials, and impact reports to ensure appreciation and engagement.
- Lead the development and execution of compelling donor communication strategies, including newsletters, annual reports, and social media content.
- Work closely with team members to create content that engages donors and highlights the Foundation’s impact.
- Provide leadership and guidance in all aspects of donor relations and fundraising.
- Collaborate with the CEO to achieve fundraising goals and build new revenue streams.
- Work with the Director of Events to ensure that all logistics are in place and the events meet organizational goals.
- Cultivate relationships with event sponsors and attendees, ensuring positive engagement and support for future events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- 7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, including direct campaigns, donor relations, and major gifts.
- Strong understanding of fundraising strategies, including direct mail, social media, and digital platforms.
- Proven track record of successfully cultivating and soliciting major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the Foundation’s mission and impact to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative, results-driven approach.
- Passion for the company’s mission and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
