What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Machine Operator - 2nd Shift position at Grassland Dairy Products?
This position is responsible for the efficient operation of print and packaging equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
- Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, packaging, etc.
- Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and sanitizing of print and packaging equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats.
- Operate print & packaging equipment at an efficient level to fulfill plant demands which includes: o Quarter pound and Pound print machines o Continental (counts as 2 types of machines) and Seal/Whip cup (counts as 2 types of machines) o Whipper, Chips, and Spreadable machines
- Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
- Backfill to other positions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
