Main Responsibilities:
- Utilize cutting-edge warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource systems (ERP), and technology to track, analyze, and improve warehouse performance.
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate shipments, while optimizing workflows that require organizational expertise and motivation.
- Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
- Optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and space utilization to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse safety and security, implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and protect assets.
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of shipping and operational tasks, maintaining high standards of efficiency.
- Cultivate a positive and motivated team culture by promoting clear communication, strong organization, and effective leadership.
- Take full responsibility for system maintenance, documentation, and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in all operations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Secondary Education degree in Accounting, Operations, or a related field, along with warehouse management experience, or a combination of equivalent education and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management.
- Proven experience working with automated warehouse management systems.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience, managing both manual and skilled labor teams.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving functions and processes.
- Strong ability to think creatively and implement innovative solutions to enhance inventory management.
- Successful completion of, or the ability to complete, Preventative Controls (PQCI) certification.
