Description
The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, ensuring smooth processes and optimal resource allocation. You'll work hands-on to supervise key areas including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, system maintenance, and documentation, all while driving the efficient layout and use of warehouse space.
As a leader you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, lead the charge in implementing and maintaining robust safety procedures to protect our goods and materials, and motivate and guide the team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Use of cutting-edge warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource systems (ERP), and other technology to track, analyze, and improve warehouse performance.
- Collaboration with a dedicated team of managers and supervisors, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient shipments, while continuously optimizing workflows that requires a high level of organizational expertise and the ability to motivate and guide your team to success.
- Oversight of all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
- Optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and space utilization to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse safety and security, implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and protect assets.
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors and managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of shipping and operational tasks, maintaining high standards of efficiency.
- Cultivate a positive and motivated team culture by promoting clear communication, strong organization, and effective leadership.
- Take full responsibility for system maintenance, documentation, and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in all operations.
