The Club boasts two clubhouses featuring multiple private dining outlets, a full-service event center, two lakeside pools, two Bill Bergin-designed 18-hole championship golf courses, a 9-hole short course, a five-bay teaching facility, two fitness facilities, and a racquet sports complex with year-round access.

Your day will include checking in members at the front desk, ensuring everyone feels welcome and excited to dive in. You'll monitor the main pool and the kid's pool, keeping a watchful eye on our guests while maintaining a fun and safe atmosphere. Plus, you'll engage in essential tasks like cleaning the pool deck and ensuring towels are neat and tidy. Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are
- All candidates must be able to work to Labor Day and workdays until after Labor Day - Weekends through end of September
- Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to positively interact with the general public
- Maintain the safety of the patrons in and around the pool
- Represent Grasslands Club by maintaining a professional attitude
- Communicate and enforce all regulations and pool rules in a personable and professional manner
- Communicate any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to the Pool Manager
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings
- Perform patron surveillance with a rescue tube from the guard stand
- Remain alert and use all senses while guarding
- Work as a team with other lifeguards during special events
- Test the water record results and report imbalances to the Pool Manager
- Set up the pool for various activities such as laps classes, etc.
- Be able to respond to an emergency and contact/activate EMS
- Handle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training
- Complete all injury reports as necessary
- Work in multiple locations (there are two pool locations)
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be 16 years of age
- At least one year of experience as a Lifeguard
- Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Red Cross First Aid for the Professional Rescuer Certification.
- Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
