Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible outdoor spaces during winter weather conditions. As a Snow Shoveler, you will be responsible for clearing snow from various surfaces, ensuring the safety of pedestrians and vehicles alike. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Clear snow from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels and snow removal equipment.
- Maintain safe walking and driving conditions by applying salt or sand as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools effectively for snow removal tasks.
- Assist with additional groundskeeping duties as required, including lawn care and tree care during off-season months.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient snow removal operations.
- Report any hazardous conditions or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in snow plowing or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Experience in related fields such as lawn care, tree care, hardscape maintenance, or general outdoor labor is a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
