About the Campaign: We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and skilled Campaign Manager to lead our Grassroots Campaign. This individual will be a strategic leader, organizing a team and executing an outreach strategy that will resonate with local communities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DC issues and a proven track record in managing grassroots campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management: Manage a motivated campaign team, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring strong communication across all campaign functions.
- Outreach: Utilize voter management information to organize volunteer efforts to establish effective engagement.
- Messaging & Communications: Work closely to approve messaging, social media content, and other communications. Ensure messaging is relevant, impactful, and resonates well.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Oversee the development and execution of grassroots campaign strategies, including event planning, engagement, fundraising efforts, and media outreach.
- Data Management & Analysis: Regularly assess and analyze voter data to inform campaign strategy and decision-making, ensuring efficient resource allocation and engagement.
- Campaign Operations: Manage daily campaign operations, including scheduling, event logistics, volunteer coordination, and collaboration with community organizations.
- Fundraising & Budgeting: Assist in fundraising efforts by identifying potential donors, organizing fundraising events, and managing the grass root campaign’s budget to ensure financial health and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing grassroots campaigns with a strong understanding of DC.
- Strong familiarity with voter management tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team, including staff and volunteers.
- Ability to speak knowledgeably on local issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience crafting and approving grass root campaign messaging.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities.
- Experience in grassroots organizing and mobilization efforts.
- Flexibility and willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and walking, as necessary.
- Reliable transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing a local grassroots campaigns.
- Proficiency in campaign management tools.
