Job Description
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Compliance Specialist is to conduct the Title 31 and SAR compliance audits utilizing reports and information from various departments to ensure compliance with the Company's policies and procedures, and all applicable federal gaming laws. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Graton Gaming Commission and Graton Resort & Casino's System of Internal Controls, practices and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Gain understanding of all Anti-Money Laundering and compliance procedures required by the Graton Gaming Commission and Graton Resort & Casino's System of Internal Controls, including those that are not performed as part of a daily audit, to ensure accurate completion of responsibilities.
3. Support compliance department leadership in the preparation of all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance reports
4. Accurately and efficiently perform the daily Title 31/AML audit utilizing cash tracking software and all available casino information to ensure property-wide adherence.
5. Prepare CTRs in a timely manner for review and filing by the AML Compliance Supervisor within required deadlines.
6. Maintain accurate, detailed records and provide support to the AML Compliance Supervisor.
7. Issues exceptions to operating departments for instances of non-compliance.
8. Ensure that proper responses are received on all audit exceptions.
9. Assist Compliance department management in updating and maintaining an exception tracking schedule, to ensure Team Members with repeated exceptions are identified and receive further training.
10. Ensures the integrity of all BSA-related data, including suspicious activity data.
11. Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of department records and reports.
12. Other duties as assigned.
