What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Attendant - Full - Time/Seasonal position at Graton Resort & Casino?
Position Summary :
The Pool Guest Attendant is to create the ultimate guest experience by welcoming guests to the pool, providing exceptional service and anticipating guest's needs. The pool attendant is to provide general resort information while always keeping the pool area in pristine presentation.
Essential Functions :
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Provide exceptional Guest service to all Guests and Team Members.
3. Ensure that all Guests are greeted in a friendly manner.
4. Seat guests upon entry into the pool area. Offer towels and amenities provided.
5. Responsible for ensuring that the pool area is clean, organized and stocked according to department standards.
6. Complete all necessary opening and closing duties.
7. Must be knowledgeable regarding all menus, pricing, and pool offerings with the ability to explain them to Guests.
8. Must complete all training courses as specified by management.
9. Responsible for restocking all linens throughout the day.
10. Responsible for stocking all products in pool areas.
11. Stock all food and beverages in pool areas.
12. Deliver all pool linens to the necessary drop off / pick up areas.
13. Must be knowledgeable regarding cabana reservation process.
14. Perform all other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications :
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Must be neatly groomed.
3. Valid Health Card.
4. Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience in a hotel environment preferred.
5. Lifeguard / CPR certified preferred.
Physical Requirements :
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
