What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Utility Tech position at GRATON RESORT & CASINO?
Position Summary:
Provide friendly, efficient service to guests while on the slot floor. Have thorough knowledge of video and slot machines and the equipment necessary to service and repair them. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Service Standards at all times.
2. Be involved in all aspects of machine conversions and relocations, including signage.
3. Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals and electrical equipment used within the department.
4. Perform routine and advanced slot maintenance, including but not limited to working the casino floor and responding to computer generated work orders and immediate action work orders.
5. Attend regular mechanic maintenance meetings and share knowledge, work and repair methods with other Team Members and management.
6. Key control: Slot machines and drop cabinets.
7. Establish thorough familiarity with all test equipment and support equipment, including but not limited to currency counters, signs, progressive and media hardware, and related equipment.
8. Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of gaming devices.
9. Keep accurate and up‐to‐date records of completed work.
10. Be able to communicate with guests in a friendly and positive manner.
11. Be aware of and updated on all upcoming events and promotions.
12. Have thorough knowledge of a player tracking system.
13. Respond to calls from Slot Team Members and provide technical assistance.
14. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
