Job Title: Woodworker Location: N Preston St.19104

We are looking for Intermediate level Woodworkers/Furniture Makers to join our team and contribute to the creation of our quality products.

Job Summary: This role is responsible for sanding surfaces, finishing duties as you prepare our products to move forward in the production process, small assembly tasks, and general wood fabricating.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanding and Surface Preparation

• Sand wooden surfaces to achieve a smooth, even finish.
• Prepare surfaces for finishing by removing imperfections and ensuring proper adhesion of coatings.
• Operate and maintain sanding equipment and tools.

Basic Woodworking

• Perform basic woodworking and fabrication tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden components.
• General assembly of smaller wood products.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Quality Control

• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Identify and address any issues or defects in finished products.

Maintenance and Safety

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using routers, jointers, planers, table saws, and general sanding equipment. Ability to use CNC machine a plus.
• 2 years of experience in similar position, preferred.
• Ability to perform woodworking tasks with precision.
• Familiarity and prior experience with sanding techniques and finishing products.
• Good communication skills and experience working independently to complete tasks.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
• Passion for honing your craft.
• High school equivalent or vocational training.

Working Conditions:

• The role may require standing for extended periods and working with various finishing products and tools.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
