We are a dynamic and patient-focused orthopedic medical office that provides top-tier orthopedic care across multiple locations. Our practice is expanding, and we are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team to assist in providing high-quality patient care.
Job Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will play a key role in supporting our orthopedic practice by assisting the physician with patient evaluations, procedures, and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient intake, including recording medical histories, vitals, and chief complaints
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained
- Assist the physician during orthopedic exams, minor procedures, and treatments
- Educate patients on post-visit care, medication instructions, and treatment plans
- Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling follow-ups and imaging (X-rays, MRIs, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Handle administrative tasks, including data entry, insurance verification, and medical documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant certification
- Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care
- Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
