Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front End Associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for retail. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for managing the front end operations while contributing to sales and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience.
• Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient store performance.
• Able to oversee the front end of the store.
• Management experience in a grocery store is a must.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front end area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Supervise junior staff during busy periods, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Negotiate with vendors when necessary to optimize product selection and pricing.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in retail math concepts for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to supervise staff while promoting a positive work culture.
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor interactions and product procurement.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
