As we navigate through critical growth phases, we are seeking a motivated and versatile scientist with expertise in oncology and/or diabetes to join our team. Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the indications for our clinical drug candidates specifically for diabetes. With a focus on molecular biology and cellular assays, this scientist will lead efforts to test and evaluate our drug candidates, identify mechanisms of action, and develop innovative cell-based assays. This role requires a dedicated and hard-working individual who is highly skilled in molecular biology techniques, with strong communication skills and experience in scientific writing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive testing of our drug candidates, including evaluating mechanisms of action through a variety of molecular biology and cellular assays.
· Develop, optimize, and validate cell-based assays to support pre-clinical research.
· Expand indications for our clinical drug candidates by identifying and testing potential new applications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemistry, biology, and clinical research, to drive innovation and advance treatment options.
· Document and communicate results effectively, contributing to scientific publications as appropriate.
Qualifications:
· Education: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Diabetes, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Several years of relevant experience in pre-clinical research, academic, or industry settings.
- Expertise in cell culture and sterile techniques.
o Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, such as immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, PCR, Western blotting, and viability assays.

· Ability to independently design and execute experiments with precision.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to scientific publications.
