The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, and facilities.
- Handle carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve general construction issues efficiently.
- Ensure tools and materials are properly maintained and stored.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth production process.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in training new staff members, demonstrating leadership skills within the maintenance team.
Experience
- Proven experience in general construction.
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, demonstrating an ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have a valid driver's license.
