Location: Orlando, FL - 5 days onsite
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to support the design, development, and ongoing optimization of Building Management Systems across various facilities. This role is key to enhancing system reliability, operational efficiency, and aligning with corporate sustainability initiatives. The engineer will focus on performance monitoring, systems updates, and control system modifications to improve overall building operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement solutions and perform design/programming modifications to EMS system equipment including HVAC, lighting control, aquatic/pool, and solar systems.
- Manage engineering projects from initial design through installation, including project scheduling, testing, training, and budget tracking.
- Develop scopes of work, test procedures, maintenance documentation, and training materials for BMS equipment.
- Collaborate with technical services teams, utility supervisors, and stakeholders to resolve system issues and coordinate project activities.
- Monitor vendor and contractor performance, provide technical evaluation of products and services, and review equipment specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations for the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of BMS components.
- Provide project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in project engineering for Building Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and lighting control systems
- Ability to write control sequences of operation and develop BMS graphics/diagrams
- Proficient in performing engineering calculations and systems analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage control system projects from end to end
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in theme park, healthcare, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with solar and aquatic control systems
- Hands-on experience with Niagara Tridium building control systems, software, and devices
Salary : $55 - $65
