Position Overview:
Our growing Information Systems and Technology team is looking for a Director, Data Management and Business Intelligence. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the architecture, best practices, and support of end-to-end enterprise analytics solutions. You'll manage the data sources that drive and enable business decisions and efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of data management, analytics, and benchmarking platforms and solutions.
- Provide strategic direction on BI roadmaps and Enterprise Data Management.
- Design, implement, and support platforms that allow business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets (e.g., data visualization tools).
- Manage enterprise data stores that support reporting requirements for finance and operations.
- Provide best practices and governance for using Snowflake as an enterprise platform.
- Train and assist business teams in using BI tools.
- Create and deploy reports, analytics, and dashboards; monitor, troubleshoot, and fix reporting issues.
- Collaborate with key personnel in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI tools and optimize Snowflake capabilities.
- Support initiatives for data integrity, quality, and cataloging.
- Work closely with the EPM and ERP teams to design data solutions for finance teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 7 years of experience analyzing and interpreting data in roles such as Business Intelligence Engineer or Data Engineer.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and mentoring employees in a data-related field.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
- 5 years of experience with Power BI.
- 5 years of technical expertise in all aspects of Snowflake, including up-to-date knowledge of the latest capabilities (Snowpark, Horizon, Streamlit, etc.).
- Experience securing sensitive data (PII/PCI) in Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience in administering Snowflake.
- AWS experience required.
- Strong understanding of security protocols (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos, policies, entitlements, etc.).
- Experience architecting and maintaining high-availability production systems.
- Experience supporting databases deployed in AWS or Azure.
- ERP and/or accounting functional knowledge is required.
- Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team and adapt to shifting priorities in a growing business.
Additional Information:
- This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days on-site per week.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
