As the Director, Data Management and Business Intelligence, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing the ongoing architecture, best practices, and support of end-to-end enterprise analytics solutions and the data sources to drive and enable business decisions and efficiencies.Responsibilities What you’ll do : Responsible for successful delivery of data management, analytics, benchmarking-oriented platforms, and solutions.Provides strategic direction on the use of BI roadmaps as well as Enterprise Data Management.Design, implement, and support platforms that provide business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets (e.g., data visualization tools for business users).Manage the enterprise data stores that support reporting requirements for finance and operations.Provide best practices and governance for the use of Snowflake as an enterprise platform.Train and assist the business with the usage of BI Tools.Create and deploy reports, analytics, and scorecards / dashboards as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and fixing reporting issues.Work with key personnel in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI tools and make best use of Snowflake capabilities.Support initiatives for data integrity, quality, and cataloging.Work closely with the EPM and ERP teams in designing data solutions for the finance teams.Qualifications What you’ll need : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.Minimum 7 years of work experience analyzing and interpreting data as a business intelligence engineer, data engineer, or in a similar capacity.Minimum 2 years of experience managing and mentoring employees in a data-related field.Current hands-on experience with all of the following required : Power BI, SQL Server, Snowflake.5 years of Power BI experience.5 years of technical hands-on expertise in all aspects of Snowflake.Up to date on the latest Snowflake capabilities (Snowpark, Horizon, Streamlit, etc.).Experience securing sensitive PII / PCI data in Snowflake.Hands-on experience in administering Snowflake.AWS experience required.Knowledge of security (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos, Policies, entitlements, etc.).Experience architecting and maintaining high availability production systems.Experience supporting databases deployed in AWS or Azure.ERP and / or accounting functional knowledge required.Able to collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers and enjoy the challenge of shifting priorities to support a growing business.
