Electrician – Controls & Service
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $35-45/hr (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking experienced electricians to join our growing team, specializing in controls installation and service work in commercial environments, including schools, offices, and other finished buildings.
Available Roles:
Controls Electrician – $35-45/hr
Responsibilities:
- Install and service DDC/PLC control systems for HVAC, VFDs, boilers, generators, heat exchangers, pumps, fans, modulating valves, fluid flow and air flow systems, heat trace, and electrical systems.
- Work primarily on commercial buildings, including schools and offices.
- Lead or be part of a small crew depending on experience.
- Perform installations on prevailing wage (PW) projects (about 1/3 of total work).
Qualifications:
- Experience with controls systems: HVAC, VFDs, pumps, or similar.
- Ability to work independently or lead a small team.
- Must have own tools.
- Willingness to submit to a drug and background check.
- Clean driving record and valid car insurance required.
Service Electrician – $35/hr
Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Perform lighting retrofit and lighting control installations to improve energy efficiency.
- Ensure safe and reliable installation of electrical systems.

Qualifications:
- 4 years of electrical experience, up to 10 years preferred.
- Comfortable being on-call for service jobs.
- Ability to retrofit electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Must have own tools.

Work Environment & Benefits:
