Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ERP Enterprise Architect / ERP Transformation Specialist with deep expertise in SAP and General & Administrative (G&A) business processes to support a strategic shift towards public cloud solutions. This role will be instrumental in bridging business objectives with technical ERP solutions, ensuring smooth integration and optimization across various enterprise applications.
Impact of the Role:
The ERP Enterprise Architect will serve as the architecture lead for the Finance and G&A business domains, working closely with business directors and executives to align IT initiatives with strategic goals. This individual will also play a key leadership role in replacing legacy ERP system, a company-wide transformational project that will shape the organization's technology landscape for the next 20 years.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ 40% - Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into ERP technical solutions.
- Assess current systems and provide recommendations for cloud-based ERP integrations.
✅ 40% - Support for PMO
- Serve as a liaison to the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure alignment between business needs and ERP capabilities.
- Provide insights into ongoing initiatives and present technical solution options.
✅ 20% - Collaboration with Technical Teams
- Partner with technical delivery teams to execute ERP transformation strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP, Ariba, Workday, Vertex, and other relevant applications.
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
✔ Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF preferred) – Strong background in enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.
✔ ERP Transformation Leadership – Proven ability to drive large-scale ERP transformations, migrations, and process re-engineering.
✔ Financial Systems Expertise – Deep knowledge of finance systems and processes, with ERP as the backbone of financial operations.
✔ SAP ERP Proficiency – Strong technical and architectural understanding of SAP ERP systems and SaaS integrations.
✔ Strategic Thinking – Ability to align technology solutions with long-term business objectives.
✔ Program Management – Experience leading ERP transformation programs, workstreams, or major initiatives.
✔ Cross-Functional Collaboration – Skilled in working across business functions to align ERP initiatives with organizational needs.
✔ Change Management – Proficiency in leading organizational change, fostering adoption, and ensuring successful ERP implementation.
✔ Technical Roadmap Development – Ability to define architectural standards, guidelines, and transformation roadmaps.
✔ Communication & Influence – Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and engage diverse stakeholders.
