Functional Tester

Job Title : Functional Test Coordinator / Tester (Utility Industry Focus)

Location : 5 days onsite in Juno Beach, FL

Type : 1 year contract, chance to extend

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Functional Test Coordinator / Tester with experience in SAP and Customer Information Systems (CIS) to oversee and execute testing for utility-focused projects. The role involves managing test strategies, writing test cases, and coordinating system integration and user acceptance testing (SIT and UAT). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the utility sector, including customer billing processes, and experience with bill comparison functions between legacy and new systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and document comprehensive test cases and strategies based on functional requirements.
• Oversee and coordinate the execution of System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) .
• Ensure test plans align with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage and execute bill comparison functions , ensuring line-by-line accuracy between old and new systems.
• Identify and report defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and end-users, to validate use cases and expected outcomes.
• Track testing progress, document results, and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and maintain testing documentation for audit purposes.
