Position Title : Security Architect
Employment Type : Contract (1 year with potential to extend or convert to direct hire)
Work Location : Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Atlanta, GA (Onsite or Remote)
Work Authorization : US Citizen, GC Holder
Position Overview :
The Security Architect will provide critical support to the organization’s security operations following the resignation of a full-time architect. The role involves performing firewall rule reviews, policy exception reviews, and supporting the migration of the log aggregator or SIEM. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring network security, enterprise security architecture, and collaborating with key security vendors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct firewall rule reviews and policy exception reviews.
- Support the migration and integration of log aggregation tools or SIEM platforms.
- Collaborate with key vendors, particularly CrowdStrike and Cribl, to ensure seamless security operations.
- Build and maintain log sources, perform firewall analysis, and enhance network security.
- Assist in large projects and initiatives, including :
- SIEM migration
- Network segmentation
- Configuration management and baselining
- Total reconciliation and integration efforts
