Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly (we are not open to contract or “corp to corp” agreements).Position Overview : Seeking a Staff level Cloud Engineer to join an established and growing team. I this role you will bring a comprehensive understanding of and background in cloud architecture, design principles, and experience implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. You will work closely with Software Engineering and Infrastructure teams, in addition to the Enterprise Architecture group.Duties & Responsibilities : Work closely with and mentor Sr. Cloud Engineers Own the intake process for new projects – working with Soft Engineers and Enterprise Architects to define requirementDeploy automation of software deployment and automation toolsWork with Enterprise Architects to design high availability / resiliency across systems increase application and system responsiveness and efficiencyCreate more stable operating environments by continuously improving infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalableCommunicate technical and domain knowledge as it relates to work, to both technical and non-technical audiences Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automation, or simplifies self-service modeling and production support for customersRequired Experience & Skills : Understanding of the 6 Pillars of Architecture in AWSExpertise implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environmentsExperience with highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deploymentsExpertise in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) or Virtualized environmentExperience leading cloud operations, including assurance, monitoring, alerting, and notificationsUnderstanding of Virtualization and / or ContainerizationUnderstanding of GitFlow model and Continuous Integration with going deep into the appropriate CI toolsExperience using Configuration Management Tools such as Chef and SaltStackExperience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, CloudWatch or similar tools10 years’ experience Bachelor’s DegreeASW Solutions Architect Associate Certification AWS SysOps Associate Certification or Developer Associate CertificationGreat communication skills – dealing with matrixed teams / orgsTo Apply for this Job Click Here
