Job Title: Mobile Shred Operator Assistant

Location: Odenton, MD 21113
Pay Rate: $16/hour (No Benefits)
Schedule: (06:30:AM - 03:30:PM)

Job Summary:

Assist Mobile Shred Operators (MSO) with the secure pickup and delivery of confidential documents for shredding, either on-site or off-site. Provide excellent customer service while ensuring the safe and compliant destruction of sensitive materials. Act as a backup for MSOs or couriers in cases of absences due to vacations, illness, or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the secure collection and transport of customer materials designated for shredding.
• Support MSOs in operating shredding equipment and ensuring efficient service.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients.
• Adhere to safety protocols and compliance regulations during transport and destruction of materials.

Requirements:

• Steel-toe shoes are mandatory (not provided by Iron Mountain).
• Ability to lift and transport materials safely.
• Strong attention to security and confidentiality.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

• Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
• Heavy lifting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Load & unload: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
