Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician II - 2nd Shift
Location: Waukesha, WI 53188
Pay Rate: $22–$26/hour
Shift Details: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician II performs entry-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive tasks for production and facilities equipment in an industrial environment. Duties include equipment inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and minor repairs. Additional responsibilities include data gathering for predictive maintenance technologies such as oil analysis, vibration analysis, and infrared thermography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and maintenance of sprockets, chains, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and related mechanisms.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as scheduled in CMMS.
- Address corrective actions from predictive maintenance findings.
- Operate tools, laptops, and diagnostic hardware to complete tasks.
- Follow safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE use.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate customer needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- 0–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid driver’s license (if required).
- Pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
- Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, stretching, and walking.
- Repetitive wrist movements and use of hand tools.
- Ability to differentiate wire colors.
Special Requirements:
- Must wear steel-toe safety shoes, gloves, hard hats, and other PPE as needed.
- Ability to handle work-related stress professionally.
Additional Information:
- This position may require alternative shifts, weekends, or overtime.
