Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Naugatuck, Connecticut 06770
Duration: 11 months
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $24–$27 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair HVAC systems, compressed air systems, and manufacturing equipment as needed.
- Install new equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform maintenance services across the facility, ensuring optimal equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with Production Supervisors, Model Shop associates, Manufacturing Engineering, and other departments to resolve equipment issues.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on facilities and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, compressed air systems, and manufacturing equipment as needed.
- Install new equipment following manufacturer recommendations.
- Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform light to moderate carpentry and construction tasks.
- Provide courier services for mail, documents, materials, and employee transportation as required.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
- Plumbing: 2 years (Preferred)
- HVAC: 3 years (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
