- Role: Warehouse Worker
- Shift: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, consisting of four days of ten-hour shifts.
- Location: Freehold, NJ 07728
- Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours daily (including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks).
Job Summary
Record Center Specialists are responsible for physically handling and moving storage materials, including boxes, bins, and totes. This role involves frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, bending, and lifting heavy items, requiring significant physical stamina.
Protective footwear is mandatory and must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best."
Key Responsibilities
- Physical Tasks:
- Lift, carry, and move boxes weighing 10-100 lbs. without assistance.
- Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
- Climb and balance on ladders for extended periods.
- Order Processing:
- Process incoming and outgoing orders for files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
- Use handheld scanners and a proprietary computer system to track and locate items.
- Safety Compliance:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and use proper lifting techniques.
Essential Functions
- Stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
- Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry items up and down inclines, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
- Load, operate, and move carts and other handling aids.
- Read and write in English to accurately process orders and labels.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. regularly without assistance.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Ability to work on concrete and uneven surfaces.
