Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) to join our team. As the face of our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for patients, whether they are visiting for routine health checks or important diagnostic tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily tasks accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the area supervisor.
- Create a welcoming and professional environment for patients.
- Skillfully and safely collect and prepare blood specimens for lab testing.
- Maintain compliance with established protocols, ensuring patient confidentiality and accuracy.
- Uphold organizational commitment by providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive image of the company.
Job Requirements:
- Strong ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric blood draws.
- Flexible availability to accommodate staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call duties, and overtime.
Education & Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Medical training preferred (e.g., Medical Assistant or Paramedic training).
- Phlebotomy certifications are preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED (1 year preferred).
- Experience in customer service within a retail or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong keyboard/data entry skills are a must.
