Undergraduate Research Assistant

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Pay Rate: $19/hr on w2

Job Location: Laramie, WY 82070

Job Shift and Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00am to 3:30pm

Job Duration: 12 Months (contract extendable)

Summary:
Responsible for the manufacturing of aqueous and solid samples produced on a daily basis. This is a fast paced, entry level lab position with training and advancement possibilities.

Requirements:
-Fast paced, team work environment
-Laboratory skills such as using analytical balances, pipettes, volumetric flasks and miscellaneous lab equipment preferred but not required, willing to train on site.
-Able to meet strict deadlines in an effective and safe manner.
-Required to wear PPE such as latex gloves, safety glasses, lab coats, full length pants, and closed toe leather shoes.
-Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Education and Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred but not required, training available on site.
-Experience working in a lab environment is preferred but not required. Our production team is able to train on site utilizing their experience and procedures to properly train willing individuals.
-This is a manufacturing site, experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
-Looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced, team work environment. Must be goal driven and work well with others. Projects vary from individual projects to working with a team depending on size and technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
