Position: Jr. Aerospace Engineer

Location: Huntsville, AL

Schedule: Full-Time Non-Exempt

Position Description

The entry level junior Aerospace Engineer for Gray Analytics will serve in a permanent position. This position will include research and analysis in the field of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to support the Hypersonic Jet Interaction (JI) engineering team. The candidate will also assist in preparing technical documentation and reports and other related technical areas. This position will also perform duties associated with computer science, computer hardware and software, and cyber security.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a B.S degree in Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited University with an interest in computational fluid dynamics
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Must be willing to travel off site to various wind tunnel locations for several weeks at a time.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficient understanding of Microsoft products, including Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient understanding of Python and other software languages (C, C , Fortran, etc.).
• Experience in CAD, MATLAB, and ANSYS engineering software tools. Experience with Fidelity Pointwise would be ideal.
• Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to interface with a variety of people in a professional manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

Security Requirements:

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
